Start-up The first incubator dedicated to cultural and creative industries is born in Brussels

CREATIS is launching in Belgium with ING and KissKissBankBank to create the first Belgian business incubator dedicated to cultural and creative industries.

CREATIS is a space dedicated to entrepreneurship and innovation in the cultural fields: media, audiovisual, animation, music, architecture, web culture, etc. Supported by ING Belgium, the system aims to support and accelerate the development of companies in the cultural and creative sector, by encouraging the integration of these companies into a virtuous ecosystem and personalized expert support.

The incubator will be housed in the ING Art Center, located at Place Royale, which already hosts exhibitions organized by ING Belgium.

For one year, ten companies from the creative and cultural sector can be welcomed with a growth objective. Preference is given to companies developing an innovative activity linked to digital technology, working on projects that can be exploited on the European and international markets, and whose creators are part of a logic of breaking down barriers between sectors and working methods. Entrepreneurs will be supported in these new markets thanks to the international presence of CREATIS, particularly in France where the structure already successfully supports more than forty companies.

ING and KissKissBankBank partners for over a year

A year ago, ING Belgium added crowdfunding to the financing solutions it offers entrepreneurs, in partnership with KissKissBankBank. For enthusiastic entrepreneurs with innovative ideas, a traditional bank loan is not always the best or only solution. That is why ING Belgium has partnered with KissKissBankBank to offer these professionals (partial) financing through crowdfunding. Both the entrepreneur and the bank benefit from a diversified financing offer.
