On May 16th 2013 at 6:30PM, BetaGroup organizes a special special BetaGroup Event that will take place on May 16th at the Polytechnic Faculty of Mons.
Why Mons ? Because Betagroup wants to celebrate the three winners of the StarTech program, which is a student business incubator program offered to students by the Polytech Mons.
Coordinated by Professor Gatean Libert and with the support of WSL, the Startech program consists of a 10 weeks intensive coaching designed to provide a nurturing and supportive environment to students who want to start their own business.
This special event will be composed of the three winners of the StarTech program + two young startups launched by fresh graduated students : Shareiff and Battlekart.
Belfius Bank starts commercializing Xpenditure by Belfius, a new smartphone application, that willgive the opportunity to their clients to connect their corporate credit cards and to automatically match receipts with the financial transactions of Belfius credit cards. This will enable users to save even more time!
The partnership between Belfius and Xpenditure is a strong signal of Belfius interest for technology and of it’s willingness to promote entrepreneurial talent made ??in Belgium.
Belfius clients have 3 months trial period where they can use Xpenditure by Belfius totally free. In addition, as everything is digitized, the information can be sent to an ERP system, to ease accountants’ life. And to work in compliance with EU laws, all receipts and expenditures are stored for the legal duration of 7 years required by the tax authorities.
Finally, Xpenditure is in talks with Belgian legislation so that the digitized receipts are fully accepted by the tax administration – as it is already the case in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. Because 100% digitized means 100% green.
